October 2025

 Hello, Readers!

Spooky Season is upon us, and my inner child is so ready for Halloween - as are my actual children. We already have one Halloween decoration up, and have done so for weeks now!

I love Autumn, and we are down for all the autumnal things - we've already been collecting conkers and have a huge collection going that I now need to find a purpose for... we have plans for Halloween and we are booking in all the trips to places like Pumpkin farms!

What have I been writing?

I have put my efforts into getting the Hidden World Novels onto Kindle Unlimited this month, and am hoping that the time away from my Twisted Roses bikers is the push I need to get writing them again, as I had very much got myself stuck in a rut or rereading rather than writing!

I can now happily say that all six of the Hidden World Novels are available to read on Kindle Unlimited. This series is not a finished series; there are so many more stories waiting to be written - I just have to find the time. It is not, however, a series where you have been left hanging for anything. Each of the stories so far are stand alone stories all set within the same world. Yes, there is a storyline running in the background of all the books, and if you read them all, you will start to see characters appear in other novels, and get a feel for the overall story, however, it is not necessary to enjoy each of the stories alone. This may change in the future... I began the series with the intention of every story being stand alone, however, readers have repeatedly asked for sequels and stories for known characters, which means that at some point, it will become necessary to read them all, and in order. For now though, enjoy whichever you like - you have ghosts, mermaids, werewolves, witches, vampires and many more to choose from!

What have I been reading?

I finished off the Crown of Nyaxia novels, and finished listening to the Runious Trioligy that I mentioned last month, and have devoured several others since then... However, the one I have to mention here is what I am currently reading. I picked up Alchemised by SenLinYu, the dark fantasy that has been the talk of book lovers everywhere! I won't lie - I know that this book is not for everyone, the author's note in it makes it very clear that the book covers some very dark and uncomfortable themes, but I am loving it so far. The story is complex, and I just know that it is going to ruin me in all the best ways!

What have you read recently that you really loved? I'm always looking for recommendations, drop me some ideas below.

What have I been up to in life?

We have had such a wholesome September - resuming some of our monthly activites, seeing friends and attending planned groups, starting new curriculums and picking up some old ones, weaving in new routines with our previous ones and generally enjoying being with each other rather than separated by school!

We've visited the farm, the wildlife park, the butterfly house, the children's museum, and so much more. We've spent days out with family members, took a trip to the seaside to go rockpooling, had cozy afternoons on the sofa together, read so many books that we could make it a business, and attended a new Games Night that I set up at work where the boys got to try some new games out and meet some new people.

Thank you

I will never be able to put into words how grateful I am for the support I've had over the years, from my family and friends, the people who have given their time to read and edit my books, and to each and every one of you who have bought and read my stories! Without all of you, I wouldn't be where I am today, because I'd be writing books that no one was reading, and where as I would still write, even if no one wanted to read them... I am so happy that I get to share my stories with you!

Till next time,

Angel x
